Amanda & Barbara are both from The Saskatoon German Junior Folk Dancers group. The group celebrated their 20th anniversary in 2019. Much has changed since the fall of 1998, when they first joined the multi-cultural dance community, but they have always loved to take their show to festivals all around Saskatchewan and all over the country. They perform dances that demonstrate how work was done in the old days: things like washboard laundry, shoe making, orchard harvest and tree cutting; as well as many fun and typical social folk dances. These are always perfect for celebrating multiculturalism through music, language, and sharing the fun at festivals. Learn more about them at their website.
