Collège Jeanne-Sauvé is a French immersion high school in Winnipeg, Manitoba that houses several elite music programs. Their ensembles travel globally, including biannual trips to Cuba where they are immersed in musical, cultural and humanitarian experiences. Collège Jeanne-Sauvé's music students are involved in multiple ensembles including the musical theatre ensemble, choir and vocal jazz, contemporary and classical bands. 140 students of CJS performed Mamma Mia in March which sold over 2300 hundred tickets! The Senior Jazz ensemble performs a variety of genres including swing, funk and latin. The Symphonic Band prides itself on performing classical pieces from traditional band repertoire to modern compositions. Check out their Instagram page to learn more.
Central Library, the largest of the nine Branches in the Regina Public Library system, is a social and informational hub in the heart of downtown Regina. The Library maintains an extensive calendar of programs, training opportunities, art exhibits in the Dunlop Art Gallery, along with film screenings in the Library's very own repertory film theatre!
