Try Somatic Movement Therapy led by Sarah Armstrong. This 90-minute session focuses on the internal movement experience, helping with pain relief, posture, and muscle memory.

Equipment Required: Please bring a mat and pillow.
Somatic movement can help improve motor control, retrain muscle memory, and release habitual muscular patterns, which may relieve chronic pain, improve posture, and support recovery from common musculoskeletal conditions. This therapy session will focus on the internal experience of movement, rather than external results.

Presenter Information: Sarah Armstrong has over twenty years of experience as a massage therapist and extensive training in Somatic Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Owner and Registered Massage Therapist at Mecca Massage Therapy Clinic, Sarah studied Manual Lymph Activation - Levels 1 through 4 at Canadian E-HIS, and also studied at the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy.
This series is offered in partnership with Qualicare Home Care Regina.
