Words Matter!  Join Gina Martin, an ambassador from the Rick Hansen Foundation, to learn more about disability, accessibility, and inclusion.  Gina will share about her daily life, talk about her disability, and how the words and actions we use can have a positive effect on those around us.

About the Presenter: Gina Martin is a wife, mother and adventurer. She loves to travel and enjoys having new experiences.  In 1992 she was diagnosed as legally blind in both eyes from Progressive Cone Dystrophy. She attended the intensive 9 month rehabilitation training at the Louisiana Centre for the Blind, and today she is living my best life only she does it differently than when she had sight.

This program is created in partnership with the Rick Hansen Foundation.
