Digital Media Studio
Flex Studio (Green Screen and 3D Scanner), Media Computer Workstation 1, Media Computer Workstation 2, Media Computer Workstation 3, Sound Studio @ Central LibraryThis workshop is a hands-on introduction to studio lighting fundamentals, designed to help photographers transition from "taking" photos to "making" them through intentional light control.
This workshop introduces photographers to the fundamentals of studio lighting, focusing on how light shape, direction, and quality affect a subject. Participants will learn how to work with basic lighting equipment—such as strobes or continuous lights, modifiers, and reflectors—while practicing simple lighting setups that can be easily recreated at home or in a small studio. Through hands-on demonstrations and guided shooting time, the goal is to build confidence in controlling light, understanding shadows, and using lighting intentionally to create mood, depth, and professional-looking images.
The Digital Media Studio is located on the main floor of Central Library.
This program is suitable for teens and adults.
