As parents, we want to equip our children with the essential life skills they need to thrive, but tackling the topic of finances can often feel overwhelming. Whether you have a little one just starting daycare or a teenager preparing to leave home, this engaging session will give you the confidence to guide them toward lifelong financial independence.

Developed by CPA Canada and hosted here at the Regina Public Library, this workshop dives into the realities, goals, and challenges of raising financially responsible children. We will explore how financial decision-making evolves throughout childhood and provide practical, age-appropriate strategies to help you navigate conversations about money at every stage of their development.

What You Will Learn:

  • Age-appropriate ways to discuss finances with young kids, pre-teens, teenagers, and emerging adults.
  • Practical, actionable tips on navigating allowances, budgeting, first credit cards, cell phone bills, and the rising issue of virtual spending.
  • A candid look at the common challenges parents face when trying to raise money-smart kids in today's digital world.
  • Access to valuable tools, resources, and hands-on worksheets to help you reinforce these financial lessons at home.

Join us to obtain the insights, tips, and resources you need to help your kids build a healthy, responsible relationship with money.
