What is a Repair Cafe?
A Repair Cafe is a neighbourhood initiative that promotes repair as an alternative to tossing things out. Local residents can bring broken items to get fixed for free with the help of voluntary repairers.
Items the Repair Cafe can help fix:
- Clothing and textiles
- Bicycle tune-ups
- Small electrical appliances
- Jewellery
- Sewing machines
- Knitting repairs
- Other helpful jobs
Note: Repairs are first come, first served and depend on volunteer availability.
This event is presented in partnership with Envirocollective.
