Registration is required. Apply by June 10 at the following website: https://sagehillwriting.ca/youth-workshops/.

This workshop takes place from July 27th to 31st from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm daily at the George Bothwell Branch Library.

At this workshop, up to 14 aspiring teen writers will have an opportunity to develop their creative writing skills with professional writer Shane Arbuthnott as the instructor.  You will be guided through writing activities in various genres (e.g., poetry, fiction) and will have the opportunity to discuss the writing life, professional pathways, and publication with the instructors.

You do not have to plan to become a professional writer to attend a Sage Hill Youth Workshop. You just need to enjoy creative writing and have a desire to develop your skills.
