Photography Fundamentals is a beginner-friendly class designed to introduce participants to the basics of photography. Mona will guide you through key concepts such as aperture, shutter speed, and ISO, helping you move beyond auto mode and gain more creative control over your camera. Through hands-on practice, participants will build confidence and develop foundational photography skills. Participants are welcome to join using either a camera or a smartphone with manual/pro settings.
Regina Public Library also offers access to the Digital Media Studio and Green Screen Flex Studio, where users can explore professional-quality photography and video equipment, lighting, and editing tools for creative projects.
Presenter Information: Mona Navaei is a visual artist, video maker, and photobook creator currently pursuing an MFA in Film Production at the University of Regina, holding a Master’s degree in Photography from Tehran University of Art, with a background in graphic design and visual storytelling.

Sunrise Branch first opened its doors to the public in 1990 and since then has operated as a full-service branch for the residents of Regina.

French language books for children and a small, regularly changing collection of Chinese language books
