CE-1Every life is a masterpiece of stories and wisdom. Join us for a special journey as we use the gentle power of art to celebrate the bonds that shape us by creating paintings. Supplies are provided.
This is an in-person program. Register to receive a reminder and any other resources.
This program is geared towards older adults and designed for all skill levels.
Focusing on the beauty of community, we will use collaborative art and guided prompts to explore communication. At the same time, through reflective mixed media, you’ll create a personal "visual sanctuary"—a quiet space to honour your own journey, resilience, and inner peace.
Dates: This program is repeated at the Sherwood Village Branch on July 18th.
Presenter Information: Rita (Fu-Mien) Cheng is a professional art therapist. With a Psychology Degree, Master’s in Child Studies and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Art Therapy, she brings knowledge in human development and emotional wellness to her programs. Her diverse career spans international education and local community service in Regina, focusing on the power of art to navigate life’s transitions.
