The Secret Agent delivers a visually rich and ambitious political thriller, set amid the political turmoil of 1977 in Brazil, under a repressive military dictatorship. It follows Armando (Wagner Moura), a former professor who is forced into hiding and seeks help from the underground resistance as he tries to flee the country with his young son.
The film immerses you in its atmospheric period world, with a compelling central performance and a story that blends political tension, personal stakes, and moments of surreal intensity. IMDB:
