Are financial worries keeping you awake at night? You are not alone. Our financial health and our mental well-being are deeply connected, and it is time we talk about it.
Financial stress is one of the leading causes of anxiety, and struggling with mental health can, in turn, make managing money feel impossible. Presented in partnership with the Credit Counselling Society, this safe, judgement-free session explores the complex relationship between your wallet and your well-being.
We will break down the taboo around discussing money struggles and provide you with actionable, gentle strategies to regain control over your finances and reduce financial anxiety.
What you will learn in this session:
- The Money-Mind Connection: Understanding how financial stress impacts your mental health, and vice versa.
- Identifying Triggers: How to recognize emotional spending habits and develop healthier coping mechanisms.
- Taking Back Control: Practical, manageable steps to organize your finances when you are feeling completely overwhelmed.
- Budgeting for Well-being: How to build a realistic budget that actually includes room for self-care, without the guilt.
- Finding Support: A guide to free, confidential resources available for both debt management and mental health support.
Who should attend? Anyone who feels overwhelmed by their financial situation, experiences anxiety around money, or simply wants to build a healthier, more balanced relationship with their personal finances.
