Join Danica Bencze to learn the art of braiding, twisting, and knotting yarn into a beautiful macrame plant hanger. All materials will be provided. Teens are welcome to join.

Important Note: This program is offered twice at two different branches. To help ensure fair access for everyone, please register for only one session. Duplicate registrations will be cancelled.
Participants must be 13 years of age or older. Registrations for participants under 13 will be cancelled. Please choose only one session when registering.

This program is beginner friendly but prior experience with macramé will be helpful in completing your project. If you have no prior experience making a macramé plant hanger, you can access training videos on Creativebug, available for free with your library card! Presenter Information: Danica Bencze has called Regina home for the past 25 years and is one of the artists behind Stumpz & Stringz. What started out as a hobby and a source of relaxation, combined with a passion for plants, has transformed into a small business. Together with her husband, they enjoy the outdoors while camping and hiking as much as possible. Inspired by the beauty of nature, she enjoys creating unique pieces of art and plant hangers with her macramé and the upcycled materials around her.
