The Newcomers (2022) documentary chronicles the lives of five immigrants facing isolation in small-town Saskatchewan as some of them struggle to find acceptance in their new homes.
Join this hybrid event presented together with the Regina Region Local Immigration Partnership (RRLIP), Regina German Film Club and Regina Public Library. We are thrilled to have Director Theresa Kliem live for this event. She will provide opening remarks as well as participate in the Panel Discussion with representatives from local immigrant serving organizations following the film.
The film screening and discussion will take place in the RPL Film Theatre. For those who are unable to attend in person, view the panel discussion online via Zoom.
