In this workshop series, discover the art and advantages of a soothing massage technique that you can easily apply for personal relief at home. Our sessions will cover essential aspects such as safety considerations in massage therapy based on your chosen preparation methods. We'll delve into techniques for the arms, hands, lower legs, and feet, as well as seated back, shoulder, neck, head, face, and neck massages. Elevate your skills by incorporating cupping into your routine. No prior experience is required! Bring a friend and acquire valuable massage therapy skills, all taught with a compassionate and gentle approach.
Presenter Information: Sarah Armstrong has over 25 years of experience in Massage Therapy with masters training in Fascial Structural Integration along with Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Extensively training in body-oriented therapy such as MABT and Somatic Experiencing. Currently enrolled and completing education in both programs, with both steeped in the intention of connecting and building one's skills of interoception. Trauma informed. Owner and Registered Massage Therapist at Mecca Massage Therapy Clinic, Sarah studied Manual Lymph Activation (Levels 1 through 4) at the Canadian E-HIS and also studied at the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy.
