Audience: Armchair programs are designed with seniors in mind, but anyone who is interested is welcome to join!
Dates: Armchair programs' winter sessions are held on Mondays from 2:00 PM–3:00 PM on January 15, 22, 29, and February 5, 12, and 26. We invite you to attend all of the sessions with us.

January 15: Armchair Traveler: Rail Travel Across Canada With Vincent Murphy
Roll along on the rails and enjoy the journey as your host and storyteller, Vincent Murphy, takes us across Canada by train, from the Atlantic to the Pacific. We'll also take a few side trips, including the Chunnel Train to Paris and a flashback to the days of steam engines. All Aboard!
January 22: Armchair Traveler: Saskatchewan's Hidden Treasures for Summer Travel With Vincent Murphy
Take a break from the January cold! Join your host and storyteller, Vincent Murphy, as he takes us on a wonderful summer tour of the wealth of interesting Saskatchewan places and people, all within easy driving distance from Regina. You'll also experience a sunset tour, a prairie sky tour, and visits with folks above and beyond.
January 29: Armchair Traveler: Exploring Regina's Hidden Gems With Vincent Murphy
There's no need to book a flight or load the car with luggage for this easy-going tour of our favorite city. Join your host and storyteller, Vincent Murphy, who will guide us in and around Regina as we visit many interesting and unusual places, including some not-so-well-known points of interest. Join us as we explore the Nahanni River in the Northwest Territories. Part of a Unesco World Heritage Park this 'Grand Canyon' of Canada this is a valley of legends, valley of lost souls.

Join Dan and Angelina Beveridge as they hike in our beautiful Rockies and share experiences, scenes and views often not possible from a car. Based on trips to Banff, Yoho National Parks and more.
Presenter Information: Vincent Murphy is a Regina-based professional playwright, story performer, and presenter. He has presented his art for 'all ages on all stages' throughout Saskatchewan, across Canada, and overseas.
Central Library, the largest of the nine Branches in the Regina Public Library system, is a social and informational hub in the heart of downtown Regina. The Library maintains an extensive calendar of programs, training opportunities, art exhibits in the Dunlop Art Gallery, along with film screenings in the Library's very own repertory film theatre!
