Discover the basics of crafting successful submissions! Join Holly Luhning, our Writer-in-Residence, to learn the essentials of submitting work to publishers, journals, magazines, and agents.

This is an in-person program. Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell. 

Attendance: The workshop is exclusively intended for adult participants.

Presenter Information: Poet and novelist Holly Luhning grew up on a farm in southern Saskatchewan. The recipient of the Saskatchewan Lieutenant Governor’s “30 Below” Arts Award, Holly is the author of the novel Quiver, the poetry collection Sway, and the chapbooks Plush and Pharmacoi.  She holds a PhD from the University of Saskatchewan and has extensive experience mentoring writers as a professor in Canadian and international universities. 

“I love supporting poets and storytellers, and I think everyone writer will bring their own perspective to their work,” said Holly Luhning. “I look forward to engaging with the creativity of every writer I meet.” Discover more about the Writer in Residence program.
